New leadership, new staff, new care options.
We are thrilled to announce the grand re-opening of The Preserve of Roseville.
Since February 2024, Progressive Care Management has been on site, dedicated to improving operations and building an all-new team of compassionate staff and caregivers to provide outstanding, round-the-clock care to residents.
The Right Care. Where and When You Need It.
A newly built community, which originally opened in 2020, The Preserve of Roseville offers Assisted Living, Memory Care, and “Senior Living Plus,” a unique, fun, and social lifestyle option where seniors can live as independently as they like.
Leading the way at The Preserve is new Executive Director Kristel Lastine, who brings more than a decade of experience with some of the largest senior care organizations in Minnesota and around the country.
“I am honored to lead the team at such a unique community – one that is focused on the individual, helping residents live the lives they want to live, with the care and attention they need and deserve,” said Lastine. “Whether you or a loved one are seeking an independent environment with access to care now or in the future, currently need daily assistance, or require a safe and secure home because of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or memory loss, The Preserve of Roseville is for you.”
“My wife and I moved to The Preserve in 2021. I did not want to move here, but my wife needed some extra care, and it was the best decision we could make,” said Bob Houck, longtime resident of The Preserve. “She was able to get the care she needed, and I have a nice group of people that I’ve gotten to know over the years.”
Location, Location, Location
The Preserve of Roseville sits on the beautiful Harriet Alexander nature preserve, complete with a boardwalk where you can see the hard work of the Roseville Parks Service pay off in their conservation efforts to preserve the native habitat of the area. Across from the nature preserve is Roseville’s Central Park with its beautiful gardens and walking trails, and family recreation center—all just a block away.
“We are focused on the wellbeing, comfort, and FUN of residents,” said Lastine. “Our engaging activities, personalized care, and natural surroundings truly are the hallmarks of life here at The Preserve of Roseville.”
Houck added, “The nature and lush surroundings make the Preserve feel like home. It’s the type of environment I am used to; the fact we can enjoy beautiful and open outdoor spaces, strolling through the neighborhood and gazing at the birds and other wildlife is truly unique to this community.” When Bob is not taking advantage of the miles of walking trails and visiting the Arboretum in Central Park, he is tending to the flowers at the front entrance and checking in on fellow residents. Bob is as important a part of the Preserve as the daily activity programming and the caregivers.
Dan Reding, recently returned to the Preserve of Roseville, after his wife passed at a skilled nursing facility, shared, “One of the reasons I wanted to come back, is because Joanne and I loved it here. We had our own private table just over there with the view of the trees,” he recalled fondly, “It’s also been good to be able to talk to the same folks that were here before; see some familiar faces and some new ones.”
“There’s Always Something to Do”
Residents of The Preserve enjoy many amenities including a robust activities program, chef-prepared meals, salon, fitness room with physical and occupational therapy, theater, and underground parking, all in a pet-friendly community with beautiful common spaces and much more.
“There are lots of fun things to do with friends and neighbors at the Preserve, making this a wonderful place to live,” continued Reding. “From nature walks to happy hours, to art and baking classes, there’s always something to do and look forward to in our community… not to mention enjoying delicious meals.”
Not too Big. Not too Small.
With apartments ranging from studio to 2-bedroom, beautifully appointed living spaces, and cozy common areas, The Preserve of Roseville prides itself on being just the right size.
“We are large enough that there is lots of energy and a lot going on every day, yet small enough that we feel like home, where the faces and names are familiar, like family; and while I do not need extra care right now, I have great comfort knowing it will be there when I need it,” concluded Reding.
